American Wine Society Competition, Las Vegas 2005
This is the second AWS competition we've entered... four wines; three medals. Only one other Ohio winery won medals for vinifera wines, congratulations to Ferrante in Geneva. Entering competitions is a pricey business for a small winery; entry fees, shipping and shipping multiple bottles adds up. So we can't enter as many competitions as we'd like. We do prefer to enter competitions with an international focus, rather than small regional competitions.
